PARTNERS

Partners are not decorative logos, but a disclosure responsibility

The partners page should only show organizations, roles, and logo rights when confirmed, avoiding turning prospective relationships into public commitments.

A partners page can easily become a decorative logo wall. For DSTS, partners are not decoration. Every organization name on the website is a public statement that a relationship, scope, or right to use name/logo has been confirmed.

Partner pages need clear status

Each partner should have status: proposed, in discussion, confirmed, active, completed, or archived. Only confirmed or active partners should appear as public relationships.

Roles must be more specific than labels

A partner may be an ecosystem ally, media partner, academic partner, local host, venue partner, operations partner, or institutional partner. Each role carries different responsibility. DSTS should publish role, scope, term if relevant, logo rights, and transparency links where resources are involved.

Fewer logos with clear rights beat many vague logos

A trustworthy partners page does not need many logos. It needs accuracy. Publishing partners is a responsibility, not decoration.
